Once you've decided you want a website, the first step is to reserve your domain name and set up a webhost. This way you retain control of your website and your content. I'll be happy to provide suggestions based on my experience, but I can't make any guarantees. I will also design sites for free webhosts if you prefer (most of these are easily upgradable if you decide at some point to get rid of the advertising).
Next, you'll need to decide what you want your site to look like. It should reflect your personality and style. C'mon, I'm sure you formed an opinion of my personality within a few seconds of entering my site. I love color and bold graphics, and I especially enjoy designing fun, unique sites using my original graphics.
Once we've settled on the details, I'll put together a price quote. I have some general packages set up to give you an idea of my affordable pricing, but they can all be customized to suit your particular needs. Once payment is received, I'll get to work. Usually, you can expect to see a preview within a week or two. Once the preview is fine-tuned to your liking, I'll add your content and the site will go live, often within a few days.
